Borland InterBase Server 6.0
In a confusing move, Borland pulled back from open-source its own InterBase package. Citing product dependence and customer demand, Borland continues its support.

Firebird is Also Open-Source
Available in both the Microsoft WindowsT and Linux operating system, this powerful SQL database is available now for download. Source code can be obtained from Source Forge.
